Daisy Squares

The daisy squares I did and the ones my daughter did have arrived at Krystals house.

Remember anyone can get the pattern from Krystal. Just click on the link that is posted on the sidebar and request it from Krystal. Or click here:

There is no great hurry in doing a square or two for her. As she will tell you herself, this is an ongoing project.

Old toy stuff

In going through some old toys to get rid of some of them we found these:

These little bunnies I made for my kids years ago. Their little whiskers have a saggy problem but other then that they are doing just fine. They were played with a lot.

This is a doll ripple stitch afghan I made for my youngest daughter so her babies wouldn't get cold. Somewhere I still have the front post stitch afghan I also made for her. I think I will get a picture of it with a doll so you can all see how small this one is.

Squares

All the ends of the daisy squares are hidden. Then I counted again. I forgot that one square is much smaller then the other squares. So tonight I will do one more square to add to the ones I have so that there are 24 8" squares.

Daisy Squares Close

I haven't done much more on the daisy squares. I have had so many other things in the pot on the stove that these kind of got pushed to the side. I have only picked up one here and there to finish off the ends.

Last night I decided I had to get these finished off to get them sent out. So I sat and got the ends hidden on all eight squares that my daugher has done and five of the sixteen I have done. Only ten to go.

So far 24 squares. I haven't had a chance to ask my daughter if she has any more, but I think I might be able to get another one or two done before I send them. I shall if I can get the time.

Easy Tunisian Straight Hooks

I got the easy tunisian straight hooks a couple of days ago and really have only looked at them. It has been busy at work and I have other things I am working hard at getting completed. I have put more into the cro-hooked shell stitch baby ghan and the tunisian mitered square afghan. The shell stitch piece goes pretty fast but that mitered one does not. It is not that it is slow, I am just not use to doing the mitered squares, so I am slow.

I want to start the Taffy Stripes Romper set, Taffy Stripes Romper Set, but decided that I would be better off to complete at least one project before starting another. I have several on looms and hooks so I am working on them first. I just want to do that set. I have the yarn I plan to use, but alas I have to have some control. ROFLOL
